To qualify for the CCISO certification, candidates must meet the following requirements:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in at least three (3) of the five CCISO domains:
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Information Security Controls and Audit Management
- Security Program Management and Operations
- Information Security Core Competencies
- Strategic Planning, Finance, and Vendor Management
Work experience must be verified by an employer.
Candidates without required experience can take the EC-Council Information Security Manager (EISM) certification as a prerequisite.
Successfully pass the CCISO exam.
Agree to EC-Council’s Code of Ethics and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Policy.
